The problem
Event organizers and attendees required an end-to-end ticketing infrastructure that could handle concurrent traffic spikes during ticket releases, synchronize seating availability across web and mobile clients in real-time, and ensure immediate ticket barcode verification at venue entrances.
What I built
A fullstack ticketing platform:
- Core backend architecture on Laravel powering ticket tiers, dynamic discount codes, and multi-currency payment reconciliation.
- Separate, secure REST API endpoints engineered specifically for consumption by iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Real-time ticket inventory reservation system with concurrency locks preventing double-booking during high-traffic drops.
- Venue scanner verification APIs capable of validating QR codes under intermittent venue connectivity.
Outcome
- Live in production at mogosevent.com serving event organizers and attendees across web and mobile.
- Reliable sync between the web portal and mobile attendee applications.
- Zero double-allocation or lost transaction records across active event campaigns.
